While trying to fall asleep last night I was flipping thru channels (at midnight) right when I was about to give up and go to sleep, I turned to TBS and the best show ever was on. I always forget that on Tuesday nights they air Sex and The City. I mean what girl doesn't love this show? And it got me thinking, what shows on TV these days deal with any of the issues SATC dealt with? One of last nights episodes dealt with the question, do we believe anything to fall in love? That's a great question, and after all theses years I don't know how to answer it. I use to be the girl that believed all guys are the same, same jerks that only want one thing and at the end will fuck you over without blinking once. But over the past two years I changed my mind set. You can't assume all guys are the same because they are not, as much as many girls (or guys) will argue. I believe you have to be open to the idea of falling in love but at the same time you can't go around believing every single world a guy (or girl) tells you. Talk is cheap. Some people try desperately to believe anything to fall in the idea of falling in love, but at the end what good is that? You only end up hurting yourself. You have to know when to separate the fairy tale from the actual truth. Just because your going thru something as someone else and things work out for them, it doesn't mean they will work out for you. At the end of the day, you and only you how you feel about that special person in your life. Hopefully they feel the same way about you.
